"Leave the professionals do their work cattle horse"
A thoroughbred is bothering a Criollo horse (Gato) who loves running rather than working with cattle. Is his passion and his friends Lobo (the criollo "lobuno" with gray and brown colors) and the arabian know it. The thoroughbred gang loves making fun of Gato and his friends whenever they get the chance.
This picture is to practise some horse expressions, I had this characters in mind for a long time and I wanted to draw some situation. As I'm not convinced of the result I uploaded it in scraps.
I love the thoroughbreds, the expressions are wonderful, however the lower jaw on the darker brown is overdone a little and the muzzle would be more rounded unless their nostrils were flared. The Criollos need longer faces, and as an owner of an arabian myself, I think that the curvature of the Arab's face is a little over exaggerated. My favorites are the Black Thoroughbred and the Grey Criollo.
<333 But I really don't have much room to criticize. I draw horses, but I need loads of work. But if you want to see somebody good, Snowfrost -->> , also one of my best RL friends is amazing.
However I love the expressions on them, the Black and the Grey being my favorites.
Yeap, as cartoons I tried to exagerate the features of each horses The brown thoroughbred has that jaw b/c of the expression (he's just similar to the others). As the Criollo is shorter than the TBs (I'm from Argentina ) I did everything else shorter ^^
The arabian..Well, it's hard to draw horses, but the face is the arabians great feature, I didn't wanted he looked the same as the others. I still must to keep on sketching horses of different breeds.
Just somethings for reference I use: [link][link][link]
Congrats for your horse, I've ridden arabians and they are beautiful, great endurance. I also love criollos, polo horses, draft horses, sport horses..In short..Most horses
And yes, they are hard to draw, so thanks for your critic.

Today's fan parody has been brought to you by the suffix -ing; as in violating, copyrighting, but also forgiving and not-suing.

I'm probably the most unusual being you will ever meet.
And most will know that I'm just crazy about things.
But over all I'm really a nice person.
